Many of you ask me for Barcode application.
Probably in all the factories of the world, is necessary to codify the items produced in some central computer.
And the most typical way is using barcodes, I am pretty sure that all of you already seen some.
In the past, the Barcodes readers sent the information to the computer/HMI using RS232 serial port, but obviously the interface has changed lately to USB or wireless readers.
According to that, we would like to share our experience with the following factory configuration

Greetings of the day!
My problem is that I have to install a printer on my HMI B10E…. and presently I have to install Epson dot-matrix printer as is the only one available in market and all other printer models mentioned in DOPsoft are out-dated and that’s why not available in market. But issue is that the dot-matrix printer is too slow to print a whole report on A4 size sheet, report includes several data words, databits and a X-Y chart with 4 curves and some lines also.
To print the report Epson printer respond too slow and print it in time >50sec and my process cycle time is around 32 seconds only.
There is one option that I like to go with and it is printers with PICTURE BRIDGE TECHNOLOGY and I have talked with Engineers here @ Delta India but it seems they don’t have any idea about it.
So, my request to you is that suggest me a no. of printers that are compatible with Picture Bridge technology and also tell me how to configure them, is there any issue in connecting them to HMI or its just simple PLUG & PLAY procedure.
I request you to reply this time, as same question regarding printer compatibility I have asked before also but there is no reply.
Kindly consider it as in every machine I develop there is a need of printer attachment to print reports.

hi, i am having a dop B E211 4.3 inch touchscreen, i have a question regarding the use of a barcode scanner together with a rfd usb scanner using a usb multiplier. I configured $555 adress and i can’t read anything nor the rfid scan nor the barcode, can u help me with this pls?
