Hannover Messe 2016 highlights

Hannover Messe 2016 is just finish, one year more.
For those who came, welcome, and for those who couldn’t pass by, this is what we showed.

MS300 means Standard Compact Drive & MH300 means High Performance Compact drive
Small and compact format to replace our beloved VFD-E, and yes, both have PLC integrated, but no size limits anymore! 2K steps and 5K steps respectively.
Let’s see If we’re on time to give it a ride within this year!

Industrial PC’s! So far 2 models of 15″ and 19″ inch, both with sexy silver IP65 frame, and of course compatible with Windows XP, Windows 7 and Linux.

A2 400V

Size Matters! finally the new A2 400V series, specifically for European market. At this moment only M version available, and don’t try to weight the motor alone!

No more ask IT guys to open the port for my machine, this is the tool you need to directly connect the machine to the cloud, and show to the boss how can he connect form his mobile phone. piece of cake.

Brand new PLC Series in the middle between DVP and AH500.
Is the kind of PLC that you’ll expected, with the flexibility and programming langages of AH500, but with a cost more closer to DVP.
Nevertheless we’ll need still more time until this is real, don’t expect it until 2017.

Delta Electronics participated in Middle East Electricity show in Dubai

Delta Electronics has showed its products and solutions in the MEE exhibition held in Dubai (1-3 March).

Various products were demonstrated in the booth, including PLCs, HMIs, Drives, Servo and Delta Multi-Pump Solution (DMPS).

Visitors from all around the middle east were present, good connections were made and costumers showed lots of interest in our products.

Due to the fact that oil prices are going down, and most of the projects in the Gulf area are oil and gas related projects, lots of costumers moved their attention to Delta as an economic alternative to other brands.

Welcome Back

Hi Everybody!

As many of you already seen, we had been really busy the last 2 years.
That’s the reason why this blog remains really quiet.

Why? because we were building up brand new team of engineers to publish and share more technical tips & tricks.

Today I’m glad to introduce our brand new team of experienced engineers from everywhere in the world (Spain, Argentina, Jordan, Taiwan, Romania, Italy…). Our intention is keep publishing tips and tricks on weekly basis since today, so do not hesitate to add you mail on the bottom, and you’ll be warn trough your mail for every new post we release.

Just say that we’re really eager to start this new phase, full of energy and with the same intention as always!
Make your life easy, and save you for a couple of hours of frustration, when the damn machine do not want to start working.

DPIDE: Advanced PID algorithm for AH500 PLC

Delta AH500 PLC programming instructions for PID algorithm.

Instruction code: DPIDE (API 0708)

DPIDE Block description

Explanation of the DPIDE instruction:

The PID algorithm is implemented only when the instruction is executed.

PID  stands for Proportional, Integral, Derivative and is widely applied to mechanical, pneumatic and electronic equipment.

For a detailed explanation of DPIDE parameters, please refer to the following file: DPIDE Explanation

Application example:

Before the instruction DPIDE is executed, the setting of the parameters should be complete. When M1 is OFF, the MV is 0, and the MV is stored in D200. When X0.0 is switched OFF, the instruction is not executed, and the previous data is unchanged.

DPIDE Block example

The PID algorithm: When PID_MODE is set to 0 (false), the PID control mode is in automatic control mode.

When PID_MODE is set to 1 (true), the PID control mode is in automatic tuning mode. After the tuning of the parameters is completed, PID_MODE is set to o (false) automatically.

Announcement: Delta Smart Viewer

New software available on the Delta web page, and as always for free!

Delta Smart viewer is the new tool to allows us to check our PLC status using Android device, like for example our Smart phone or tablet.

On this recent version is only supported wifi communication, but is planned in near future to support 3G communication, being able to monitor and control our installations using our smart devices.
Up to 10 devices can be supported with the actual version.

Able to monitor temperature or any other graphic value using run-chart, with a top samples number of 5000.

Furthermore, the export/import profile, makes it easy to configure other devices with same connection.

Hannover Messe 2013 summary

Dear all, That´s all for this year!
It has been a pleasure to all of you who comes to our booth, and the one who can´t don’t hesitate to come next year.
But If some of you want to be aware of what we bring this year, keep reading this post.

In first place, this was our booth this year!

And If you never see it,get used, because our middle size PLC AH500 is here to stay!
Able to have 4052 local I/O and 128000 remote I/O, this is going to be Delta PLC Future.

Hannover Messe 2013

Here we go again!

As every year Delta will be and Hannover Messe.
Come to our booth, and we could talk about automation, see you there!!

I know… just last week we announce the release of last version of ISPSoft, and today new version!
But the real reason of this post, is nto the new version, is the new Manual of ISPSoft!
