In CANopen mode, the presence of a heartbeat setting from the motion controller is required to display an alarm when the connection is lost. If you are using ISPSoft, there are two methods you can try:

• If you are utilizing CANopen DS301 mode, you should configure the error control settings as follows in the CANOpen builder within the HWCONFIG.

• If you are using the Delta special drive & AS remote mode, you should employ the INTC function block in your ISPSoft program to initialize the CANopen connection.
