I have Totally 7 Boolean Input and I need to log That input in the Historical buffer, But the historical Buffer Shows Only Word How Can I Log Those Input In the Linduvidual Sheet Column?

Model DOP107EG. How to prevent USB memory stick data from being erased every time it is programmed? Some times I forgot to detach usb stick and all my collected data is erased. There is an option in Configuration>Main>Others>System “Keep User Data” checked but seems it is related to another data.

1. when i make changes on my HMI through DOPSoft i loose my Alarm history, is there a way to avoid this?
2. I am trying to put a simple counter on my HMI reading a counter bit in my ISPSoft, but when i make changes to PLC programme i loos this counter value and it goes back to Zero, is there a way to retain this Value and only reset to 0 when i make a reset bit. any help would be appreciated

we are getting an error “com 2 station1: communication error 3” on DOP-B05S111 suddenly. Till noon it was working OK. it is communicating with delta DVP 20PM on RS 485 communication. The com cable is checked and found ok.Battery of PLC is not low., as on PLC it shows green indication. Can anyone advice?? Thank you in advance.

Hi All
First ever post so forgive me if I do anything wrong.
My customer has given me an FX5Uc PLC and a Delta DOP-B03S211 HMI.
Comms need to be via serial. Ethernet not an option.
I have configured the HMI as the Delta DOP datasheet(see attached)
I have configured the PLC as: –
MC-Protocol – 19200,8,1,Odd
I however get an HMI error: –

COM 1 STATION 0: COMMUNICATION ERROR 3.
READ ERROR
No Response from Controller

I have created a simple page on the HMI consisting of a push button (M reg) and a numeric display (D reg).
When pressing the push button I can see the change in the PLC. (Transmission good)
Any change of the D reg in the PLC is not reflected on the HMI. Confirms the message.
I have tried all combinations of settings on both side but no joy.
The PLC seems to be happy as it receives and transmits ok with no errors.
Can any one see what I am doing wrong?

Hi, im getting a TCP Read Error 22 DINT 2:4. it only pops up for a couple seconds and then disappears. We have been using the screen for a year now and this is the first time i have seen this error. i am using an Allen Bradley compactlogix PLC. can anyone help me use this error code to locate the problematic address? thanks.

Hi. After mamy hours of succesful programming in ispsoft and dopsoft i got into trouble. I use macros to write integers so they remain in memory after I turn off the device (dunno if its a correct way but it worked so far). When my programme got pretty big my plc got crazy. After some reaserch i found out that when i write a number lets say “50” on hmi, the plc shows muuuuch more. Like hundreds of thousands more. Replacing input fields doesnt work. Input gain is normal (1.0). Number written on hmi should appear on the plc unchanged. Any ideas?

what exact you need to know. it is register in plc and which used by HMI to check the buffer status or trigger the buffer or move the value in buffer .
than this hmi buffer is used to represent the history graph and more.. changing value in that plc register trigger the buffer of HMI. if need sample program mail me.

The max. Length for Modbus is 1200meters. Remember the 120Ohm resistor at the end.

Under trigger, select PLC, then trigger the bit set under control block, bit 0 will trigger log 1, bit 1 will trigger log 2…etc.

I have communication problem between HMI Delta DOP-107 BV and PLC Omron CQM1H-CPU51… Communication cable using serial RS232 (Serial DB9 using Pin No. 2,3,5 in HMI Side and Pin No.2,3,9 in PLC Side). Then, the alarm show in HMI is COM 1 Station No.1 Read Error 3/ Write error 7… What means of those notification,sir ? Please help me by explain the Right Way of Serial RS232 Pin Out/ Wiring, Configuration in DOP Soft V4.00 side and Configuration in CX Programmer Side…. Thanks

In HMI Side Communication Configuration is RS232, 7 bit (Data bits), 2 bit (Stop Bit), 9600 (baudrate) and Even (Parity bits) … then, in PLC Side Communication is 9600,1,7,2,E, Host link mode (Communication setting)… thanks

I have an application with a DOP-W157B and Allen Bradley Controllogix over Ethernet/IP using a 1756-ENBT. The problem is an Error: No TCP Connection that freeze all the connections. The only way to solve this issue is shutting down the system. The error occurs at least twice at day. Any suggestion?

I installed DopSoft 4.00.04.32 and I encountered a problem:
I use a DOP-110WS HMI with an Omron CJ / NJ / NX Fins UDP Plc and when I have an error 6, I get a CIO 0 error in the HMI popup that I do not use; I only use D and W channels.
Please solve the problem.
Where can I find the updated DopSoft ver 4.00.04 manual with all the error codes?

I install DopSoft 4.00.04.32 and use Dop110WS with ethernet connect Omron CJ/NJ/NX Fins UDP. I find one error: If the PLC not Responce, The HMI view an error with number 6 CIO0; I don’t use CIO 0 but I use only D channel. If I change D channel with W channel, the error is same: Erro CIO 0.
Please fix this error in this version.

You do not write what communication ports your CPU has. If it has RS232, try the following settings as described below:

I’m afraid the project in the panel will be deleted. The battery is inserted inside, so you have to remove the back cover, and you will not do it under voltage. Is it a problem to upload it again after replacing the battery?

i have two registers D0 and D1 used in my program which corresponds to NumericEntry0 and NumericEntry1. User will put decimal values to them. But value in NumericEntry0 must be <= value in NumericEntry1, and the HMI should not accept if this condition fails. How is it possible before the PLC read from HMI?

99% of the times, while “Saving” or “Saving As”, we get the error :
“Saving File Fail !!”

Hi, you asked a month ago, so I do not know if you have no problem solved.
In the menu Options / Configuration is the tab Control Block. If you do not use the Control and Status blocks, set ‘{Link1}@B3:xx’ to internal memory $100 and $200 (for example). If yes so, you must select the correct registry (B, F, …) in Device Type. I do not work with AB, so I do not know what the individual choices mean.

I have a machine that need to starts the temperature control before the workers came at factory at 4:00 AM automatically. This machine are equipped with a Delta HMI DOP-B07S410, and this HMI have the RTC (real time calendar) fuction. Can I use te RTC function of HIM for start the machine in the hour that I need, setting bit or a internal memory or another way? Obs.: The PLC don’t have the RTC funtion.

Estou com um problema em uma IHM DOP-B03E211. Foi criada uma tela a pouco mais de 6 meses e o sistema estava operando normalmente. Mas, agora a tela não responde aos toques no touch screen. Porém, quando é habilitado o cursor para a tela é possível perceber que o curso vai para os pontos onde a tela é tocada descartando a possibilidade de um possível problema no touch screen. Mesmo assim os toques sobre a teclas programadas não executam o comando. Ao resetar a IHM observa-se no primeiro toque na tecla programada, um funcionamento correto, mas os demais toques já não funcionam mais. Criei uma outra tela com uma tecla de incremento e um display numérico para teste mas também não funcionou.
Há alguma sugestão para solucionar este problema?

TP04 needs 24V for normal operation. This is another cons inherent to this particular Text Panel. Most of our project are 12V powered battery but we have to build an extra 24V power source just for the TP04. We are replacing it with HMI like applications for celphones.

Hello ,
I am using DVP12SE11R which recieves alarms from the system and presents them on the HMI SCREEN DOPB07S411.
I’m using WPLSOFT and DOPSOFT in order to program the PLC and the HMi.
In the WPLSOFT program i converted all the alarm to M Registers ( M0 – M760) .
In the DOPSOFT program i typed all the alarms in the Alarm Setup and set the Address to {EtherLink1}1@M0.
I have come to a conclusion that in the alarm setup the No.1 is actually M0 , No.2 is actually M1 and so on…
Although , in the HMI , some alarms shown on the HMI screen as empty lines and some alarms are not shown at all.
Please help me fix this problem , maybe i havn’t typed the alarms correctly . so how should i do that properly?

Hi everyone,
I have a DOPSoft project that has one language. I want to add an additional language, but when I add it, the existing elements in the new language do not inherit the font settings from the existing language. Instead they default to Arial, size 12. This is frustrating, as the project has more than 2000 text elements and I need to go through each of them and check wheather the font is correct or not. Does anyone know hot to work around this?
There is an option that seems relevant in Configuration–>Others–>Language–>Default font style–>Apply to all, but it does not seem to change anything and the manual is not clear:
>>When users only choose one of two options, the result only suitable for after apply and after that create new element.
>>When users choose both options, the result suitable for already existed elements and new elements.

>>Only could input text element suitable for apply font name andfont size function.

I have a TP04GAL2. TPEditor software (all versions) are full of bugs and very unstable. The TP04GAL2 crash and freeze in my first page when a MODBUS command is received and I dont know why, it stop sending MODBUS data and there are no response pressing the keys. This text panel are totally crap and there is no official support, and no official forum. Even though this, I had no problems using DOP series.

Don’t know whether below will resolve your problem or not. But mine it has done after writing below in cycle macro. Put value in Text box of HMI with address “$M700” with double word unsigned decimal data type.
$800 = $M700 * 10000 (DW)
$900 = $800 * 100 (DW)

Hello everyone,
I am using delta DVP-B10E615 HMI with delta 28SV plc.
I have 30 alarms to display on HMI, means for 30th alarm i will have to move 536870912 as a numeric valve to Specific data register lets say D10, (mov K536870912 D10) and K1073741823 for all 30 alarms, which is a huge valve.
Is there any other solution in ladder for 30 alarms.

you have to move value 1 to 30 in that register if you using same delta hmi..
there alarm feature in HMI just put alarm statement for each of it in DOP soft … and move the particular value over that register

Hi,
I have an application that uses several (up to 16) DVP PLCs connected at the same time to a DOP-B HMI via RS485.
The application has about 130 different screens and each of the screens needs to communicate to any of the 16 connected PLCs, one at a time. As all the PLCs have exactly the same program, the only thing that needs to change is the ID of the PLC that the HMI targets each time.
At this point, I have only managed to accomplish this by using HMI $ tags in the screen elements, combined with exhaustive macros in each screen. The macros are huge and I cannot write them manually, so they are prepared using excel. Apart from being difficult to maintain, this practice slows down the RS485 communication considerably.
Is there a way to make the PLC station of the link parametric, for example, instead of
{Link1}3D100 to use something like:
{Link1}($1)D100
Any other ideas, someone from the Delta team maybe?

Maybe I was not clear enough though. My data is spread all over the PLCs memory, as it is normal for a big program that uses a lot of data registers for read or write between HMI and PLCs.
What I need is HMI to be able to communicate with one PLC at a time. The user changes the selected PLC ID and then HMI starts showing data from the new PLC.
This way I will be able to reuse each HMI screen for any PLC that is currently selected.
PLC link is very limited, compared with what I need. It can only exchange data between certain registers (up to 100) and, the way I understand it, the read and write area is defferent so I still need a lot of extra programming, if it’s possible at all.
Besides that, PLC link uses it’s own network to connect the PLCs together. So I would need extra cabling and communication extension cards.

In the meantime I made some tests, using Ethernet. Ethernet would only solve one part of the problem (that of communication speed), but, surprisingly, I didn’t notice any considerable improvement. Maybe because the limiting factor is the execution time of the macros and not the communication itself.

Go to Configuration -> Control Block and set Control Address and Status Address to a valid PLC or HMI tag.
As a starting point you can set

first download tpeditor – then connect tp to pc – hold on esc button on text panel than select upload or tp to pc and you will see waiting screen on tp. now select upload from tp in tpeditor software. hope this will help you.

I have some wierd problem. Im using Delta DVP12SE with HMI Delta B07E415. I sending about 8 alarms over instruction MOV (MOV 1 D10) – (MOV 8 D10) in ISPSoft. In DOPSOft (numeric display) function iam seeing incoming values. (0-8). What i want to is show them in Active alarm list. So i assign ({DVP_SE}1@D10)
1 – alarm 1
2 – alarm 2
3 – alarm 3
4 – alarm 4
5 – alarm 5
6 – alarm 6
7 – alarm 7
8 – alarm 8
When i press first alarm, show alarm 1 correctly.
Alarm 2 is too correct, but Alarm 3 show me alarm 1 and alarm 2 together. Alarm 4 show me Alarm 3 … etc
Please, help me… i have no idea, what im doing wrong…

The alarms work as bit registers, so you need to address the bits so the numeric values will be 1, 2,4,8,16,32,64….etc

Have you reset first alarm before mov the next value.
if not then there is no problem in result… as it is alarm the structure it self have the feature that 1 st you should clear the alarm and it will dis appear.. or you can move value k0 before entering next value. if you not getting it then mail me i will explain it you in detail.

Dear all,
I need help in logging data from my dop-b07s(e)415 onto mysql using eserver. I have a screen where the operator on the shop floor enters data. He clicks on the “Save” button and the data entered in the screen is stored in a table in mysql.
I have configured it such that on click of “save”, a particular bit in a register is set to indicate the eserver that the data has to be logged. I am facing an issue here. The bit which is being set is not getting unset after a defined number of seconds. If anybody here has successfully achieved this configuration, pls guide me.

I am working on a Delta DOP-B10S615 HMI. When the unit is powered up its displays ‘Reading’ It does not display screen data but on the top right corner is displays ‘Run out of memory’ When i try to communicate via USB i get the error message ‘HMI’ not responding. When I try COM1 I get the same error and its displays ‘Command Parser Fail’ on the top left corner. I do not have the original screen data, how do I resolve this without loosing the program.

my suggestion is to use default protocol that is 7E1 … and time should be 100 ms …. try using different time out time… make change in time and observe the performance.

Hi Can Someone Help,
We are trying to link a DVP12SE PLC and a DOP-B10E615 via TCP/IP or Ethernet.
We are using a cheap ethernet switch and tried pulling in and out the ethernet cable from the PLC. After connecting it again, the Alarm in the HMI “No TCP Connection” don’t reset.
Is there a needed configuration or programming to address this? The HMI needs to be rebooted again to initialize the Ethernet settings and recognize the presence of the Controller.
Appreciate anyone who can help us on this.

If I understand this well, you mean inserting a CH3 and CH4 channel reading from DVP04TC. Do you paste the address through the Numeric Entry object? Then there is probably an error in address format. You may have selected Unsigned Decimal in the Memory format. Try to change it to Hexadecimal.

I’m afraid I will not help you anymore. I do not have a TC module available. When I put it in the simulator I can not see the problem. What does “enter address manually?” When entering an address in the Numeric Entry object (Data Type – Word, Memory Format – Hexadecimal, radiobutton “Use the system keyboard” on, Write Address – Internal Memory), you can not enter 40910 because you have only 4 characters available. In addition, you will see a Hexadecimal Keypad with 0-9 and A-F characters.

DOP-B HMI needs you USB drive to be formatted in FAT32 with no more than 32GB of space.

Hello and happy new year At this point I am trying to communicate a TP70P-RM0 with the TPEditor V1.88 (since with 1.60 the HMI does not exist) and I get “Communication is time out” and when it really tries to communicate, the error “Machine Type error! ” displayed. Currently the HMI does not have the RUN / STOP switch … my question is: Would you miss this RUN / STOP switch to be able to communicate with the HMI? What happened to the HMI? Its another posibilitie to comunicate with the PC?

First you try to check Communication Parameters (Communication Setting) of COM port. When I had troubles with communication HMI –> PLC via Modbus 984 RTU (Master) I had to change Baud Rate and Parity. In my case it is: Data Bits = 8 Bits, Stop Bits = 1 Bits, Baud Rate = 115200, Parity = None.
Then I tried to reduce speed (on both devices must be the same) and Controler timeout – I have 1000 ms.
Sometimes I have to reboot the slave (PLC) because communication does not start after downloading the program and cold start from PC.

Choose a state graphic
That 3D fan graphic
Change state to 6 as there are 6 shades for each fan.
Change auto sate to yes
Please remember that you have to select the 6 fans that you need.
Read address to what you need if you mov 1 into the fan will rotate.

What is the modbus address of B0? 16 bits = 2^16, bit 0 = 2^0, Bit 1 = 2^1…. etc. Add the numbers of the bits you need to switch and write them to the modbus address word.

This is my first comment, i have a trouble with my HMI DOP-B07S515, with 3.0090 version, when i try to download my application, the screen show a fail like this (totalSize: 79234) (receive data fail (0). and don´t leave me do anything, even if i try to set a one white screen, the hmi show me the fail too. a few days ago, the device have been working very well but this trouble started when i upgraded the firmware, Someone on this forum can help me please??

Necesito habilitar una marca (bit) de un PLC Mitsubishi pero solo quiero que esta marca este activa por 1 segundo.
El código de la macro que uso es este

En la LABEL 7 es que necesito que esa marca M257 solo se active por un segundo pero hasta el momento no se como hacerlo.

hola, pues a como veo tienes 3 opciones. La primera es crear el timer de 1 segundo en el plc, y activarlo a través de la hmi. La segunda es usar la instruccion DELAY en el macro de la hmi, pero ten en cuenta que esta función retarda todo el sistema de la HMI. La tercera opción es usar la instrucción getsystemtime en el macro, esta función lee el “reloj” de la HMI, es cosa de solo comparar el tiempo y listo. Si tienes mas dudas te recomiendo este foro http://www.infoplc.net/foro/ porque aqui no creo que te ayuden mucho. Saludos

You have to set, in the DOPSoft program, the communication parameters.
In DOPSoft, Options-> Configuration ->Control Block
1. Control Block -> Set register for Control address of Screen & General Control
2. Status Block -> Set register for Status address of Screen & General Control
Don’t use this registers in the PLC program.

This is about command line options for eRemote. I’ve managed to find out how to make it automatically connect to an IP address at startup by using “…/eRemote.exe” [IP] [port] [password], what I would like to know is if there is any option to automatically start the HTTP server at a specified TCP port.

Can anyone tell me that how can I use a numeric entry window in Delta HMI to write that value in address to two PLC’s, mean to say that I have a numeric entry window in HMI in which i will write numeric value,and I have 2 PLC’s having different ip addresses, now I want that the value which i will write should write at both PLC’s Data register, but when we have to choose the address there comes a option of only write address,which means value can be write only at one address.

Hello, are there any thoughts about implementing indirect addressing of PLCs? I mean using a variable station number instead of a fixed station number. We have many PLCs on the same Link and all of them have the same program. We need to use one screen to communicate with a different PLC each time, using a parameter.

Hi, I am programming a DOPB10 615 and a DVP SA2 and having an issue with the speed of execution of the background macro. I have some processing macros and then in some situations I need to move data to the plc. At some point if I add more instructions, it runs completely slow or doesn’t run at all. If any problem that only one way communication from Delta HMI to Delta PLC, Mean that you can write to address into PLC from HMI and you can monitor into PLC that actually right value are written into PLC, but nothing is revived back to HMI then you may have wrong setup into your communication. Many thing can go wrong, do systematic troubleshooting and only change one thing at time. This case as I describe may have follow solution.
Go to Communication settings into your DOB software and check out you controller settings, many different controllers can be used Delta and other brand too. If you use communication port COM 2 from PLC to COM 1 into HMI and protocol RS485 you have to use DELTA DVP Q-Link as controller to have right communication. If you only use DELTA DVP PLC as controller then you only get one way communication. Be sure then change controller type that into communication parameter software automatic change back to RS232, you have to set to RS485 again otherwise you can fight long time before you find out problem.

Now I got problem and may have simple solution. Delta SA PLC connect to DOP B03S211 communication through Com2 RS485 Everything seam work into communication I can write to PLC D2000 through numeric entry from HMI, walue is recived into PLC. But nothing return to HMI, still just ### into HMI. Setup in read and write is as follov read {LINK1}0@D2000 and write {LINK1}0@D2000. What do I overlook into something should be so simple

I have communication between PLC and HMI otherwise impossible to write to the D register into PLC through HMI as I actually can .
All kind of M Bit is aloud to be set through HMI too. I have even try to change to standard Delta cable direct link because I thought as you it could be cable problem. I just not get data back by read same D register as I write into.

You need to set your ethernet port to a fixed IP with your Hmi IP in the subnet masks range. I.e. HMI IP: 192.168.1.10

After just doing war with a dop-b03s211 for a few hours and giving up and sending it back to the supplier , I’d say delta have a long way to go , information on the unit is sketchy at best and the communication instructions a joke . I’d contacted delta three times for any suggestions and nothing , our company won’t be buying anymore delta items as the support is zero . We’ll continue with red lion and mitsubishi hmi’s , oh well the price seemed to good to be true .

I’m having trouble communicating between a dop-b03s211 and a mitsubishi fx1s , the dop-b03s211 only has one comm port that doesn’t seem to be rs422 enabled . The mitsubishi outputs rs422 and the hmi rs232 , is there anyway to get them to communicate or am I miss something . I’m used to using redlion and mitsubishi hmi’s this is the first delta product we’ve tried to use , we hoped it would be o.k as they have a fantastic price point compared to the above hmi’s.
Any help would be greatly received .

Hi,
I have couple of issues to report about your Delta DOP-B and DOP-W products.
The products I performed the test on are B07S415, B07S411, W157B, soft used – DOPSoft 1.01.10 and 2.00.01 and 2.00.04.
Firstly, when connected to SLC 500 cpu (5/04) via RS232 DH485 protocol I am getting this error – “Read Error Receive Unknown Code”. This happens when multiple elements are on the screen. It reads everything correctly but this stupid error pops up and it slows everything down. When I switch the PLC controller and HMI to SLC5 (DF1) protocol everything is working perfect so it must be the DH485 driver problem. I checked it on several 5/04 and one 5/03 CPU’s. All of them gives me the same result.
Unfortunately, I can’t switch the protocol to DF1 as some of the PLC’s are part of the DH485 network.
Secondly, I have a serious issue with migrating my project from DOPSoft version 2.00.01 to 2.00.04.
I have created hundreds of tags for the multi state indicator. They are Allen Bradley SLC 500 word addresses. I use them as LSB (list of bits). They’re refused by the multi state indicator in the newest version (“Fail to input address”). I can’t compile my project. The problem doesn’t exist on DOPSoft V2.00.01.
Strange thing, they work OK if addressed directly (address without a tag).
I must migrate the project to the newest version because macros do not work properly or at all in projects created under DOPSoft 2.00.01.

I’ve got a problem using eRemote app. When I include “Embedded subscreen” component into my HMI project, eRemote says “Some elements that eRemote can not support”. When I remove all embedded suscreens (just for test) it works fine. Is there some ways to use eRemote when screen contain subscreen elements?

The connection is okay. However after 4-5days, the connection time out alarm appear in GOT HMI. At this time, I cannot get data from Servo drives anymore. If I want to reconnect, I have to turn off servo drives and turn on again. I don’t see the alarm or warning in Servo Drives.
Could you please advise what i should do to correct this case?

Hi, I am trying to phase out a lot of Mitsubishi HMI screens in a factory and I am testing your Delta DOP-B07S415 hmi connected to a Mitsubishi FX3U plc with a recipe program. I have all comms between the HMI and plc with rs422 on the hmi comm2 and a usb from pc to hmi to download to hmi. I cannot get transparent mode (direct to plc link) to work in order to monitor the plc program which is GX Developer.

HI, I am using DOPB07E415 with a schneider PLC over ethernet. I find that the HMI screen freezes every 30 or 40 min. It resumes after pressing any soft button on the HMI screen. How to get over this?

Hi, I installed eRemote on domain user’s PC’s with standard user rights. It successfully connects to HMI and temperature values are fine and all. However everytime the user opens eRemote on his PC it asks for the administrator password. I do not want to set the user’s PC’s to administrator because they will be able to install stuff on their pc’s. What can be done to make eRemote open without need for administrator password? Appreciate any help anyone may provide.

Now I want to communicate this HMI module with micro-controller C8051F120 using a serial communication protocol. Right now I don’t Know how to do this possible. Hello, Our HMI (DOP-B03S211) shows the error ‘Control Area Fail’ (communicated with Delta PLC DVP24ES). Plz suggest how to solve it or how to check that what is the problem?

Hi, How can I communicate DOP-AS35THTD Delta HMI with a controller via RS232 serial comm. I am new in Delta HMI, I am using Screen Editor 1.05.86. I need to communicate the HMI with a microcontroller. I haved did all kind of thing in order to receive some data frome the HMI but do not receive anithing.

Hello!
My application uses a schneider smart relay with modbus tcp/ip 6 digit comunication module connected to a DOP B07E515 , and i have to send 10 bits in 1 word .I cannot find the bit `s addreses (the documentation says that they are betwen B0:0-65767 ) My question is how can i identify the bits wich i need ,or what kind of solution do i have with this setup?
